Dead Sea Aromatherapy Bath Salts

November 4, 2011

These aromatherapy bath salts from Dead Sea Skin Care contain Frankincense and Rose Petal making them a lovely, luxurious Christmas present.  (I know it’s still early to talk about Christmas but now I’ve started looking properly I can’t stop finding stuff!)  The salts have a strong perfumed, slightly spicy smell which is supposed to calm breathing and unwind muscles.  They cost £6.49 for 500ml and are available from Boots.

Aromatherapy Associates Miniature Bath & Shower Oils

March 18, 2011

A couple of months ago I review an Aromatherapy Associates Candle which I really loved so I couldn’t wait to try out the Miniature Bath & Shower Oil Collection.  It is made up of 9 x 3ml cute little bottles of natural oil, each with a different scent.  They all smell beautiful, make you feel as though your bathroom is actually a fancy spa and really are very relaxing!  The only downside to these oils is that they will make you fall in love and want to buy the quite expensive full size bottles which are £37 for 55ml.  I was planning to ask for a full size bottle for my birthday but not sure if I can wait until November!  I think these would make a lovely gift – maybe a good idea for Mother’s Day which is coming up in a few weeks?

New Palmolive Shower Gel

June 2, 2010

Palmolive have brought out some lovely new shower gels which smell absolutely gorgeous.

The first one I’ve tried is the Palmolive Aromatherapy Morning Tonic shower gel. It smells so summery and fruity that it can’t fail to wake you up in the morning.

I’ve also tried the Pomegranate shower crème from the Palmolive Nutra.Fruit range.  This one feels more luxurious – I’m not sure why, maybe it’s just that the packaging looks more expensive – but doesn’t have quite the same ability to wake me up!

Both of the shower gels leave my skin slightly scented but it’s not to overpowering that I can’t wear perfume.

Both of the ranges cost £1.99 but the Aromatherapy shower gels come in a 250ml bottle while the Nutra Fruit shower crèmes are 200ml.  I think this is a really good price as they smell as good as shower gel from shops like The Body Shop but are much cheaper.  I also prefer the bottle to The Body Shop shower gels as the lid is at the bottom so you don’t have to shake it upside down to get the end bit out!
