Lemon & Lavender Cupcakes

I adapted this recipe from my new recipe book Prepped.

I did have to improvise a bit as I didn’t have all of the ingredients but they still turned out ok, if lacking a bit in lavender flavour!

Beer Bottle Candles

The St Eval Candle Company has loads of lovely candles.  I love the beer bottle candles which smell of lemon and thyme.  There are a few different designs to choose from……

I think everyone would love these candles so they might even make a good Father’s Day present.

Colourful Lemon Cupcakes

These cupcakes are lemon sponge with lemon buttercream…..

They are decorated with little flowers from Milly Molly Mandy and with yellow edible glitter from Splat Cooking.  I love glittery cupcakes!

Radox have some new shower gels just for men which have bright, stand out packaging and a wake-you-up sort of smell. I really love how colourful all of the products are and the hooks which fold out from the top of the packets are handy for storing them.

I think they’d make good ‘stocking filler’ type presents as they are only £1.99. They are also really easy to get hold of as they are sold in lots of supermarkets and chemists.
